The Mastiff PPV (Protected Patrol Vehicle) is the British Army version of the Cougar 6x6. It is a heavily armoured vehicle capable of carrying six people plus two crew. It is designed to be resistant to anti-vehicle mines and improvised munitions, making it suitable for road patrols and convoys.
The Mastiff can be fitted with LMG, GPMG, 40mm grenade launcher or 0.50" Browning HMG.
