QRF is no longer on TMP (The Miniatures Page). After Geoff questioned the wisdom of the editor posting topics that were not relevant to wargaming, and seemingly intent on doing nothing but stirring up controversy and sensationalism (which resulted in several people’s accounts being locked) we found our own account was also locked, so we “would not be tempted to post”.

As a consequence we are unable to respond to customer queries there.

We have been too busy to catch up on the moulding front, but over the next few weeks we hope to release some more Carlist infantry and cavalry,  WW1 ranges see the mounted officers for British, French and German, together with The Limber and Caisson sets for the Indian Army and British GS wagons for both British and Indian Armies, French Chasseurs d’Afrique and the British Cyclist and for the  Belgians, a signaller pack in sidecaps so they can be used with any style of infantry and dismounted versions of the cavalry and their horse-holders.

For modern fans, there are a pile of Dutch/Belgian vehicles with new vehicles in both YPR and YP guises, together with the Dutch version of the Lynx recce vehicle.  Geoff will be adding infantry too.

WW2 will bring the new British Archer 17pdr SP and the oft promised and long-awaited SdKfz 250 series vehicles – so, if you want a particular version of this – say so now!

Drinc hael!

February 2017

Coming soon – more WW1 vehicles, The Belgian Minerva Armoured Car and a theGerman Opel 14 2.5 tonne truck in open or closed cab format….. plus Indian Army Artillery crews, the French Zouave Command, Carlist and Cristino infantry and the British Limber Teams.

We are also re-working the Ancient Roman (RE) ranges in to simpler listings based (roughly) on time period, these are also being re-moulded so that shields. standards and weapons are attached to the figure. Also changing are some of the MA (Macedonian and Successor) codes, which will migrate to the new HG (Hellenistic Greek) range.

This is to make it simpler for us to sort out new figures and cross-post them in to other ranges. It makes sense to us!

We are also transferring more of our resin scenic items in to latex – most will be cast in brown so that they are easy to drybrush to an excellent finish.

Geoff is finishing off the new Canadian figures for post-war games and a couple of vehicles too, so it will be a busy month.  Not sure that we will get all of these moulded this month but keep an eye on these pages for more info – or on our newsletters.  This months is on its’ way with the discount code.

Price Rise????

Despite all the BBC doom and gloom reprting, we do not plan any price rises in the forseeable future.

Yes, raw material costs have risen slightly, but are still nowhere near the level they were when China was buying raw materials at a prodigious rate.

We have had one of our best years on record, though it started slowly, on June the 24th, it was as though a switch had been turned and orders flooded in – not just from overseas – from the UK too. More than we have seen for a long time.  We can only say ‘thank you’ to all our customers and re-iterate, same great products, same great prices!!!!
