WBI14 Royal Marine Light Infantry

Alongside the Royal Naval troops, were landed several contingents of Royal Marines – still in the blue undress and red lace of ship-board uniforms.

These contingents were lightly equipped with no formal artillery, or MG support.  They made do and fought bloomin’ hard!
