StugIIIG 7.5cm L/48 (Topfblende mantlet)

£5.52

Description

The Ausf G introduced the distinctive rounded “Topfblende” (pot-shaped) mantlet, improving protection around the gun mount over earlier flat designs. By this point the StuG III had become the backbone of Germany’s assault gun and tank destroyer force, cheaper and faster to build than a proper tank while remaining genuinely effective in the defensive battles of 1944-45.
